Digital Marketing Institute Adwords Course Day 1

I am going back to school…….well a two day course really but always good to have a break from the office. Trying to beef up my Adwords knowledge by attending the Google Adwords 101 and 201 course from the Digital Marketing Institute.

Day 1: Not too much of an early morning so thats a plus. Lovely setting in the Radisson Blu. Looking forward to learning loads. Signs are all good so far. Just had a conversation on the validity of Facebook’s PPC model. Location maps?……..there is a lot to learn about adwords!

I could spend hours in the Google keyword tool. If there was one piece of advice I would give anyone on adwords it would be plan ahead, think long term, spend time structuring everything. It will be worth it in the long term.

Dynamic keywords are new to me. Must be careful how you use it though. Also the revamped google keyword tool is very handy. Will definitely be using that a lot going forward. Roll on Day 2

  1. To market in terms of quality rather than price, and in order to differentiate accordingly, you need to follow the standard format of the 4 P’s marketing plan. That is, Price, Product, Place and Promotion – obviously you know the main attributes of the product, and the price, but for ‘place’ you should think about the type of people who are willing to pay over 4x price of competing product – whereas the cheap option may be sold where emphasis is on cost, your product will be suited to places/distributors where the customers will be willing to pay for quality. Thank you for this article! I’ve just found a without doubt full news archive about real marketing Try it!
